Ball lock pin

HEINRICH KIPP WERK has expanded its range with further ball lock pins. The product range from KIPP includes many different types of ball lock pins. The focus of this expansion are the »Ball Lock Pins, self-locking. Apart from the standard version, these are available with »T-grip and with »L-grip.

How they work: When the button at the top of the pin is pressed it activates a spring mechanism. The lock on the balls is released and they withdraw into the pin body. By releasing the button the the balls move out to the start position and the ball lock is activated. This function guarantees a robust and self-securing lock that prevents an accidental loosening of the pin.

MEDI grip

The KIPP product range MEDI grip was specially developed for areas that have highest hygienic demands. These operating parts have grips made from a plastic that is enriched with micro-silver particles that significantly reduce the bacterial colonisation on the surface, thus greatly minimising the risk of infection. MEDI grip products are mainly used in areas where stringent hygienic stipulations apply. In particular, these include medical sectors, hospitals, doctors surgeries and nursing homes.

The anti-bacterial products are also used on equipment used for foodstuff production. The great advantage of this product range is that the operating parts are resistant to damp and various cleaning agents.

NATURE grip

The KIPP product range NATURE grip stands for quality and sustainability. These products are made from a bio-plastic and regenerative raw materials. They contain no mineral oil based source materials. The distinctive feature of these bio-materials is their origin, the wood fibres used come from sustainably managed German forests. The various grips all have good resistance to strong acids and lyes. The NATURE grip products, available in black-grey or wood-look, can be used indoors or outdoors.

ESD (Electrostatically Sensitive Devices)

The KIPP product range ESD offers optimum protection for sensitive components. These operating parts are used in ESD protected areas where components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge can be found. The ESD products are made from a special electrically conductive plastic and comply with DIN EN 61340-5-1 standards.
ESD operating parts are also often used in areas that have a high risk of explosion to prevent possible electrostatic discharges. In respect to the electric conductivity, all ESD products are tested by the German TÜV Süd.
